On top of that,
the lasagna has been given a creamy coating which is made from almond milk and
vegan butter mixture. On top of that, the lasagna is also sunken in mushrooms
and vegetable bouillon which gives it a hearty flavor. It's as if this dish is
topped with everything there is to have in a mushroom dish!
Another one that I
would recommend you try out the Grilled Wild Mushroom Burgers with Beer Mustard
Sauce, courtesy of Lazy Cat Kitchen. This burger beat out all expectations as
it has helped create something new as well! The burger starts by making use of
fresh wild mushrooms, which are then sautéed for just about 5 minutes before
adding them on top of some whole wheat burger buns. The buns are then topped with
the sautéed wild mushrooms and fresh lettuce before another quick sauté. The
burgers are finished with a beer mustard sauce per the recipe's description.
Vegan Mushroom and
Walnut Pate
Recipe Rating: 4.4
out of 5 stars (43 ratings)
- 45g walnuts, soaked
overnight in the fridge
- 1 tbsp coconut
oil or olive oil
- 1 onion, finely
diced
- 30g celery,
finely diced - 200g mushrooms, chopped fine to get rid of any dirt between the
gills (see notes for how to do this) - 2 garlic cloves, crushed or minced with
a sharp knife - 3 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes or any vegan cheese you have on
hand if you're not vegan! Usually, soy cheese is used, but I found some
jackfruit cheese at my amazing grocery store. If you don't have any cheese,
don't worry! This recipe will still work without it.

Mushrooms are often used in Paleo and other low-carb diets, but there are some
exceptions. Portobello mushrooms are one of those exceptions. This yummy dish
includes sautéed onion, garlic, and peppers that add a nice flavor and then the
mushrooms get thrown in to help cook down the sauce and thicken it up. It also
includes some soy sauce. Now you don't want too much of this, though because
soy has a salty taste that can easily overpower things so I like to use maybe
1/2 cup or less if I'm making this for myself but if you're eating this with
others, up that amount to 1/2 cup or even 3/4 cup!
